As other competent reviewers have mentioned, some kind of in-app file management system, like folders or playlists, would be the icing on the cake. I’m able to toggle between just instruments, just voices, and both *while the song is playing,* which is incredibly helpful for the kids to hear exactly what they should be singing/listening for. The speed and pitch controls are great, of course but the quality of the vocal isolation, while not 100% perfect (nothing is), is easily the best I’ve seen in an iOS app. I’m working with a youth theater group for an upcoming musical, and this app has made it SO much easier to teach vocals. Give it a try- it's actually quite amazing. I think this will actually accomplish your desired goals even better than a low/high pass and or multicolor waveform. Thank you for your time and effort, your app has already helped me a lot as a beginning bass player.ġ.5 has the ability to split any track into Bass, Drums, Vocals and Instrumentals. This would make it easier to quickly pick out a section to loop and also helpful as a visual metronome as you practice. Last and definitely least important, in most DAWs or DJ software you have the option of using the multicolor wave form view which is helpful because it shows where your kick drums are hitting by highlighting them and other beats in contrasting colors. I have had to reboot Transcribe once because it would not allow me to pass through to Apple Music to get my song. It is a little annoying to have to go dig the song out of my phones music player each time and not be able to quickly call up a different song. Second is the ability to make a playlist of songs you are working on. It would be nice to turn the guitar down a bit or boost the bass. I am currently trying to learn bass lines and sometimes the guitar is so forward in the song that the bass is really hard to hear without cranking the volume. My most urgent request is Low Pass and High Pass filters. There are a few features I think this app should have especially since it was so expensive. Note: Transcribe+ does not work with Spotify due to 3rd party app restrictionsĪ few additions would make this a 5 star app Unlock everything with a single in-app purchase.
